DETAILS:

Under the direction of George Vosburgh, Thomas Thompson, and Stephen Story, the Carnegie Mellon Wind Ensemble will perform a multitude of pieces including Jacob's Old Wine in New Bottles, Stravinsky's Symphonies of Wind Instruments, and Strauss' Serenade in E-flat for 13 Winds, Op.7.

A pre-concert lecture will be given at 3:00 pm (in Kresge) by George Vosburgh, Thomas Thompson, and Stephen Story.

Reception:

Immediately following the concert (approximately 5:30 pm), the School of Music will host a coffee and dessert reception in Alumni Concert Hall that is open to alumni and concert attendees. We ask that alumni RSVP.
