6th International Conference of Dalcroze Studies

August 2 - 5, 2023

ICDS6 aims to present the best of current research and practice within Dalcroze Studies and related fields. ICDS is a global, transdisciplinary forum, open to viewpoints from education, the arts and humanities, and the social, health and life sciences. We welcome practitioners and scholars alike. This year our theme is “Ecologies of Practice in Music and Movement”.
This conference is happening concurrently with the 48th Annual Summer Dalcroze Workshops at Carnegie Mellon University. Registrants may opt to attend CMU Dalcroze training before or after the ICDS6 conference. See below for rates and dates.

ICDS CONFERENCE (August 2 - 5, 2023)

Early registration (if full payment is received by April 23rd): $400.00 
Student early registration (if full payment is received by April 23rd): $200.00 (for Full Time Students*)
Regular registration: $450.00 
Student registration: $250.00 (for Full Time Students*)

ICDS Online: $360.00 
ICDS Online Student: $200.00 (for Full Time Students*)
ALL scheduled presentations and performances will be livestreamed.

ICDS6 Conference + three full days of study at the Carnegie
Mellon Dalcroze Training Center (31 July - 5 August 2023)      

Early registration (if full payment is received by April 23rd): $900.00 
Student early registration (if full payment is received by April 23rd): $540.00 (for Full Time Students*)
Regular registration: $1000.00 
Student registration: $600.00 (for Full Time Students*)

* In order to register at the full-time student rate, you must first email proof of student status to ICDS6@cmu.edu and receive a discount code BEFORE proceeding to the registration site.

Registrants may also combine attending ICDS6 with special two and three-week programs at the 48th Summer Dalcroze Workshops at Carnegie Mellon.
 

Special conference rates for students and attendees from developing countries

ICDS6 encourages conference participation from a diverse international body of people. Please email ICDS6@cmu.edu for information on percentage discounts for students and attendees from developing countries (as defined by the World Bank Gross National Income standards). Unfortunately, these discounts do not include housing or parking.
